Big Bear Lake Central: As the name would suggest, Big Bear Lake Central is centrally located in the Big Bear Valley on the south shore of Big Bear Lake. Big Bear Lake Central is mostly residential and is also where you will find shopping, The Village, City Hall and The Performing Arts Center, Marinas, and other attractions and amenities. Free Big Bear Trolley: Mountain Transit's Free Big Bear Trolley service offers convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors to help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley. Traffic and illegal parking are a significant issue for Big Bear during the busy winter and summer seasons. We encourage everyone to leave their vehicles at their homes or rentals and hop on the Free Big Bear Trolley to navigate the town. Three new routes have been specially designed to make accessing restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, ski resorts, snow play areas, parks and work easy and efficient.
